Background

In the last decade, gender equality has become a key agenda in international forums, recognized as essential for a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable world. The WISE Forum aims to explore effective strategies to empower women, addressing challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality. Participants will engage with leaders, practitioners, and academics to gain insights and inspire concrete actions in their communities.

The WISE Forum also seeks to raise public awareness about the importance of gender equality for sustainable development. Through interactive sessions and panel discussions, the forum highlights successful stories and best practices, motivating women to take active roles in development and challenging societal norms that hinder progress.

Event Type

The event takes the form of a seminar discussion that presented by two expert speakers. This theme will open a window to crucial issues regarding gender equality in social, cultural and political aspects. Additionally, the forum aspires to inspire and motivate more women to take active roles in various fields of development. Another goal is to foster relationships and collaboration between individuals and organizations with a shared vision of promoting gender equality. Lastly, the forum facilitates in-depth discussions on SDG 5, focusing on sustainable development goals related to gender equality and concrete ways to achieve them.
